Happy Month, Sad Month

Reagan loved her first Thanksgiving and the family loved spending the day with her. She is definitely our little “butterball” and now weighs a little over 16 pounds. We’re really curious to find out what her height is because she is quickly outgrowing her clothes because of length more so than weight!

Her big accomplishment of the month was rolling over! She rolled from her belly to her back and has done it a few times since, but won’t seem to perform for her grandparents yet. She also started eating some rice cereal and even though she wasn’t interested at first, now seems to like it. But I think she wears more than she eats!

Her attention span has really grown and she can occupy herself for longer periods of time. We’ve even attempted a few more restaurants and she did great! She is getting more and more vocal and even fake coughs for attention! She is also becoming more interactive, really grabbing for things and playing with them, turning them around in her hands, and of course putting them in her mouth! She is still drooling like crazy and we think teeth are just around the corner. Fun, fun! Fifth month photos

The sad news was saying goodbye to our kitty, Nittany. His heart problems worsened and he was struggling to breathe so we had to let him go. We miss him greatly, and see memories of him all around the house. It’s very strange to go into the bathroom and not have him jump up on the sink for a drink of water! But we know he’s in a better place and is once again healthy and happy, and we try to remember that when we get sad. We’ll be sure to tell Reagan lots of stories about Nittany and what a great cat he was.
